Whir up frozen bananas into an &ldquo;ice cream&rdquo; without the cream! Peanut butter adds a natural swirl of flavor for a sweet and satisfying dessert with no added sugar.

2-Ingredient Peanut Butter Banana Ice Cream

peeled,

peanut butter

Unsweetened coconut

Place bananas and peanut butter in a food processor. Pulse and process until mostly smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed. Garnish with coconut, if desired. Serve immediately.


I wouldn't make this. My husband can't have the peanut butter- substitute almond butter, I don't eat bananas, not sure what to substitute. I'm more for the option of some frozen berries; or almond butter/nuts with carrots or celery sticks for finger food.

I like this recipe however I could not get the right consistency until I added some almond milk to the mixture. Way too stiff with only frozen bananas and peanut butter alone.

Excellent! Easy peasy and very yummy. A great alternative to ice cream for kids.

Another version I like even better is frozen bananas with unsweetened cocoa powder + dash of vanilla + pinch of salt.  Add a Tbsp of Grapenuts on top for crunch!

I love this—peanut butter and banana are two of my favorites and they really do come together like ice cream here (although sometimes you just need the real deal).
