Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and prepare a sheet cake pan with oil and flour.

Add the boxed cake mix and 12 ounces of soda pop to a large bowl.

Step 3

Beat on low speed with a hand mixer for 1 minute.

Step 4

Beat on medium speed with a hand mixer for 2 minutes.

Step 5

Pour cake batter into sheet cake pan and bake in the oven for 55 minutes.

Step 6

Let cool to room temperature. Then serve.

Step 7

Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
