Step 1

Preheat the oven to 425°F.

Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.

Combine the mustard, honey, garlic powder, and olive oil in a medium mixing bowl or shallow baking dish. Stir until uniformly mixed.

Step 4

Place the chicken breasts one at a time in the honey-mustard mixture, turning to coat. Arrange the chicken breasts on the prepared sheet pan.

Step 5

Bake on middle rack of oven until the thickest part of the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F, about 15 minutes.

Step 6

Check to see that chicken is done. Remove from oven or add time as needed.

Step 7

Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
