Step 1

Preheat your air fryer to 370 degrees F using an air fryer setting. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides. Brush the chicken breasts with olive oil on both sides.

Step 2

Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.

Step 3

Check the internal temperature of the chicken with a meat thermometer. It should reach 165°F (74°C) to be fully cooked. Allow your chicken breast to cool for a few minutes before slicing the chicken breast thinly.

Step 4

Spread one teaspoon of Dijon mustard onto each bread slice. Top 2 slices of bread with one-half each of the chicken, avocado, tomato, baby spinach, and shredded mozzarella. Add the remaining bread to the top to form a sandwich.

Step 5

Brush the paninis on both sides with the olive oil or melted butter, place your sandwich onto the Air Fryer Grill Plate (if you have one), and air fry at 330 degrees F for 3-5 minutes, or until the bread is golden-brown on all sides and the cheese is melted.

Step 6

Serve with some chips or pickles, and enjoy!
