Step 1
Preheat air fryer to 370°F.
Step 2
Combine chicken, buttermilk and hot sauce in a bowl. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours.
Step 3
Mix flour mixture in a bowl.
Step 4
Remove chicken from the buttermilk and allow excess to drip off.
Step 5
Lightly dredge chicken in the flour mixture. Generously spray with cooking spray.
Step 6
Place chicken in the air fryer basket and cook 25 minutes, flipping chicken over after 15 minutes.
Step 7
Remove from the air fryer and season with salt and pepper.
