Preheat the air fryer to 360 °F for 5 minutes.

On one bread slice put some shredded cheese.

Arrange the tomato slices followed by bell pepper and then onion slices.

Sprinkle some salt and pepper.

Put the remaining cheese over the veggies.

Place the second slice of bread on the veggies and apply butter on top.

Put the sandwich in the preheated air fryer with the buttered side down.

Apply butter on the other side with a butter knife.

Air fry for 5 minutes.

Carefully remove the grilled cheese sandwich with the help of kitchen tongs.
