Step 1
Preheat air fryer to 390 degrees.
Step 2
Spread 1/2 tablespoon of butter onto each slice of bread.
Step 3
Place one slice of bread butter side down into the air fryer basket.
Step 4
Top with 1/2 cup shredded cheese, then top with the second slice of bread, butter side facing up.
Step 5
Toast in the air fryer for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
Step 6
Repeat steps for the second sandwich.
