Step 1
Line the bottom of the pan or drawer (not the basket) of an air fryer with aluminum foil. In a small bowl, stir together miso, honey, vinegar, ginger, and sesame oil.
Step 2
Set the basket in place in the air fryer. Close the lid and program the air fryer to 400°F for 8 minutes. Preheat according to instructions for your air fryer.
Step 3
Set salmon on a plate or tray. Spray the skin side of the fish with cooking spray. Turn salmon over and brush tops with miso sauce.
Step 4
Add salmon to the air fryer with miso side up. (If fish won’t fit in a single layer, cook it in batches.) Cook salmon until it’s no longer translucent in the center and flakes easily when checked with a small knife, 8-10 minutes, adding time if needed.
Step 5
Transfer salmon to a platter or plates and sprinkle with green onions.
