Step 1
Add all the ingredients except for the sugar to a small bowl and combine well.
Step 2
Mix in 1-1/2 tablespoons of the sugar, taste and add the remaining 1/2 tablespoon if desired.
Step 3
Transfer the seasoning to a standard-sized spice jar with a large-hole shaker top and tight-fitting lid.
Step 4
Store in a cool, dry place and use as desired.
