Step 1
Place the orange and thelemon in a saucepan, andcover with water. Bring to a boilover medium-high heat, thenreduce the heat and simmerfor 30 minutes. Drain and cool.

Heat the oven to 325degrees, and set a rack in themiddle position. Bake thealmonds 10 to 15 minutes. Setaside to cool completely. Whenthe almonds are cool, pulse themin a food processor until ground.

Set oven to 350 degrees, andgrease a 9-inch springform pan.

When the citrus is cool, cutthe lemon in half, and discard thepulp and seeds. Cut the orangein half, and discard seeds. Putthe fruits in the food processorand process almost to a paste.
Step 5
In a small bowl, whisk theflour and baking powder. Combineeggs and salt. Beat until foamy.Beat in the sugar. Fold in the flourmixture. Add the citrus, almondsand olive oil, and beat on lowspeed until incorporated. Pourthe batter into the pan, and bakefor about 1 hour. Let cool for 10 minutes, unmold and dust with confectioners’ sugar.
