Pre heat your oven to 400 degrees.
Step 2
Mix together the sugar, corn starch, cinnamon and salt in a bowl and set it aside.

Peel and slice your apples and add them to a bowl.
Step 4
Pour the melted butter, vanilla, and lemon juice on your apples and toss them around to get all the apples coated.
Step 5
Pour the cinnamon sugar mixture on top of the apples and mix until all of the apples are coated. Then transfer the apples to a baking dish. I used a pie dish.
Step 6
In a sauce pan melt 1T of butter on a medium heat.
Step 7
Add the pecans to the melted butter and cook them until they are fragrant.
Step 8
Take the pecans off the heat and put them in a bowl to cool down.
Step 9
Mash together the sugar, butter, brown sugar, flour, and cooled pecans until you don't see anymore flour.
Step 10
Squeeze a handful of crumble in your hand to make a brick.
Step 11
Then crumble the brick on top of the apples. This will give you big and small crumbles.
Step 12
Repeat this until all the crumble is on the apples.
Step 13
Bake the apple crumble in a 400 degree oven for 45 minutes.
Step 14
Let it cool for 30 minutes and then enjoy!
