Export 3 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2
Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish. (I use Baker’s Joy.)
Step 3
Process the fruit filling. This isn’t 100% necessary but if you’re using apple pie filling (as I did) you’ll want much smaller pieces. Don’t work it down to a liquid, but do take it to smaller pieces than you started with.
Step 4
Add the eggs and mix well.
Step 5
Stir in the cake mix but don’t over work it.
Step 6
Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan.
Step 7
Place in preheated oven and bake for 30 - 35 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 8
Remove and place on wire rack to cool.
Step 9
Once cool, cut into squares and serve.
Step 10
Store in an airtight container or tightly wrapped in plastic wrap in the refrigerator. (I think the fruit component will do better chilled.) If should stay good for up to five days.
