Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
Step 2
Trim the base of the brussel sprouts and peel off any outer layer that has browned, then slice in half.
Step 3
Toss the sprouts in olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Arrange sliced side down on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes.
Step 5
As the sprouts bake, cut bacon into ~ 1 inch squares and slice or crumble cheese into small portions.

Remove the cooked sprouts from the oven and flip so they are sliced side up.
