Step 1
Preheat a charcoal or gas grill to medium heat. Divide each patty in half and reshape each into a patty. On top of 4 patties, put one-fourth of the chopped bacon and one-fourth of the diced Gouda cheese.
Step 2

Step 3
Slice onion and place on grill for 3 to 4 minutes until grill marks form, turning once.
