Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2

Cut dates down the middle lengthwise, but not all the way through.

Step 3

Stuff about a teaspoon of blue cheese inside the date and push the sides together to close it around the cheese. Wrap bacon around the date and secure with a toothpick.

Step 4

Cook wrapped dates for about 20 minutes and then turn them over and cook for 5 more minutes or until bacon is cooked through and cheese is melty.

Step 5

Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
