Step 1
Cut your bacon slices in half, lengthwise. Wrap one slice of your bacon around your shrimp; start at the tail and overlap the first piece of bacon to help hold it on and then wrap up and around the shrimp with as little overlap as possible till you get to the top of the shrimp. Then lay the wrapped shrimp on a baking sheet.
Step 2
Combine the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Use a basting brush to brush the shrimp with the glaze. Flip the shrimp and coat the other side.
Step 3
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F. Place the shrimp in the air fryer, leaving space around them. Cook for 4 minutes and then flip them. Brush them with more sauce and then continue cooking for about 6 minutes more, or until the bacon is crispy.
Step 4
Serve hot and enjoy.
