Preheat the oven to 350˚

Wash the acorn squash. Split in half and scoop out the insides
Step 3
Before filling, score lightly with a paring knife.
Step 4
Put ½ the butter, brown sugar in each of the two squash halves.
Step 5
Sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
Step 6
Place in baking pan.
Step 7
Put ½ inch of water in the bottom of the pan.
Step 8
Bake for 45-60 minutes or until soft. Serve hot.
