Step 1

Preheat oven to 375º F

Step 2

Core apples to remove core, but don't cut all the way to the bottom

Step 3

Place apples in baking dish

Step 4

Stuff 1 TBSP butter inside each apple

Step 5

Sprinkle cinnamon on top of apples

Step 6

Put 1/2 inch water in bottom of pan

Step 7

Bake apples for 1 hour (check beginning at 45 minutes and add 15 minutes at a time until done)

Step 8

Remove from oven when soft and can be easily pierced with a fork

Step 9

Serve topped with sour cream
