Baked sweet potato is an easy side dish or main meal. Sweet potatoes are super versatile, can be made sweet or savory and they&#x27;re packed with vitamins and nutrients. Watch the video above to see how easy they are to make!

Baked Sweet Potato

potatoes

kosher salt and black pepper (to taste)

butter (optional)

Wash

Preheat your oven to 400°F. Give your sweet potatoes a good wash and scrub.

Poke

Place the sweet potatoes on a baking sheet and poke 4 to 5 holes in each sweet potato with a fork or sharp knife.

Bake

Bake in the oven for approximately 60 minutes, or until soft. To test if they&#39;re done, poke them with a fork or knife. You should should feel very little resistance when inserted.
