Quick and easy with ingredients I usually have on hand. Sometimes I substitute plain Greek yogurt for the sour cream.

This is my favorite kind of recipe - one stop oven baked fish. I make salmon frequently, but picked up lake trout today and found this amazing recipe! 

I didn&#039;t have lemon so I used lime juice, but my shredded cheese was a mix of parm, provolone, asagio and fontina, so we ended up with a very rich, well-balanced flavor. 

Adjustments I will make next time (I think this will be a new favorite) is a bit less sour cream and a cook time of 30 minutes (in my older oven), and maybe add a sprinkle of breading on top. 

We had salad and mashed potatoes, next time I&#039;ll have purple potatoes, shredded carrots, broccoli (all for color) and a nice white wine. Can&#039;t wait!

Not good.  Not enough seasoning and too much sour cream.  I would suggest something else.

Cooked some Lake trout fillets recently caught in Ontario. I thought they came out great. Had a glass of white wine with it on my deck, and it was as good as any restaurant I've been to.

I usually don't leave reviews but I made this last night for my husband and I and it was DELICIOUS! It was so simple to make and we ate it all up! I usually do a Parmesan crusted chicken with a mayo and parm cheese mixture on top so I was curious about the sour cream but it was soooo yummy! We will DEFINITELY be using this recipe again and again! THANK YOU!

Amazing recipe, we substitute the sour cream with greek yogurt to make it healthier, and it is one of the best fish recipes I have ever made!

So simple and so delicious! My family loved this recipe, including my two kids, ages 10 and 12, who would never eat sour cream but nonetheless ate every bite. The parmesan cheese made it work for them. I will make this again, and try it on other types of fish too.
