Tangy, juicy and delicious balsamic chicken is what's for dinner.

Balsamic Chicken

balsamic vinegar

extra virgin olive oil

basil

chives

lemon

garlic clove,

salt

pepper

boneless skinless chicken thighs (1-1/2 pounds)

Combine the ingredients

Whisk together all ingredients except the chicken. In a bowl, toss the chicken with 1/3 cup of the vinegar mixture; let stand for 10 minutes.

Grill the chicken

Cover and grill the chicken over medium heat or broil it 4 inches from the heat until a thermometer reads 170°F, about six to eight minutes per side. Drizzle with the remaining vinegar mixture before serving.

Excellent! Followed exactly as written- was worried midway through that there would be too much of a vinegar taste; however, something else in the ingredients cuts that. The final product was more sweet than acidic, with plenty of lemon coming through and just a light tang from the balsamic. My whole family loved it- served over a bed of plain couscous with a small side salad. Super easy and will be in the regular rotation.

Do delicious! Used Panera Balsamic dressing and fresh tarragon in addition to the basil and chives.

I made this for the family and they loved it.  Only deviation from the recipe is I added Shiitake Mushrooms by stir frying them separately and adding them right before I drizzled the remaining Vinegar on top!

I liked this recipe; it was quick and easy to make.  The balsamic gave the chicken a tang!  I used chicken tenderloins rather than thighs, but it wouldn't change the recipe at all.  I used dried herbs, since that's what I had.  Not a bad recipe for a quick dinner!

Nice flavor.  Chicken is moist but well cooked.  Enjoyed the lemon zest with the rest of the ingredients

Not good! My wife loves balsamic vinegar, so I thought I would try this. But it’s way to much balsamic! Reduce that by half and maybe it would be better. I couldn’t eat this.

This is an easy preparation. I let mine marinade for a couple of hours and the chicken came out juicy and tasty!
