Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9”x13” pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
Step 2
In a medium mixing bowl, smash 6-7 ripe bananas with a fork or potato masher. Place in the bottom of the 9”x13” pan.
Step 3
Top the bananas with 1 can of evaporated milk
Step 4
Dump the cake mix over the milk. Do not mix. Top with half of the bag of cinnamon topping.
Step 5
Add sliced butter in an even layer over the top of the entire pan.
Step 6
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 7
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, whisk together light brown sugar, milk, and unsalted butter over medium heat until butter has completely melted. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Transfer to a small pitcher or gravy boat.
Step 8
Serve cake with sliced fresh banana slices, chopped pecans and a drizzle of vanilla sauce.
