Mix the crushed vanilla wafers and melted butter in a bowl until well combined. Press the mixture onto the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form an even crust.

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until it forms peaks. Gently fold in the banana pudding mix until smooth.

Carefully fold the banana cream mixture into the cream cheese mixture. Pour the mixture over the prepared crust. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until set. Cool on a wire rack, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

Step 6

Before serving, garnish with sliced bananas and additional vanilla wafers.
