Export 3 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 2
Prep : Slice the smoked sausage into 1-inch coin shapes.
Step 3
Add the sliced smoked sausage, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and dijon mustard into the baking dish. Stir together until combined.
Step 4
Bake for 45 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly, darker in color, and thickened. * I like to stir everything together a couple times during the cook time just to ensure that all the sausages are coated well.
Step 5
Serve with toothpicks as an appetizer, as a side dish, or alongside Mac & cheese for a kid-friendly dinner idea. * If you want to keep them warm for a party or game, I still recommend baking them in the oven (gets the exterior nice and charred and yummy) and then removing them to a slow cooker on the WARM setting for 2-3 hours.
