Step 1

Heat oil in a Pressure Cooker and then add the whole spices, cinnamon stick, cardamoms, cloves, and bay leaf.

Step 2

Add the sliced onions and fry for a couple of minutes and then add in the ginger-garlic paste. Continue to fry until the onion turns light golden in colour.

Step 3

Now add the Meat Masala, Chilli powder, and turmeric powder. Add 2 to 3 tbsp of water to avoid burning and fry for a minute. Then add the beef and seer the meat for 7 to 8 minutes on medium to high heat.

Step 4

Add salt, slit green chillies, and 1 to 1.5 cups of water depending on the gravy you need. Cover the pressure cooker and cook the beef on medium to low heat for at least 30 minutes after the 1st whistle.

Step 5

Now let the pressure release on its own. Open the lid of the pressure cooker and garnish with some fresh coriander leaves. At this stage, you could add lemon juice if your yogurt was not sour enough for the curry.
