Step 1

Wash, peel and grate the beets.

Step 2

Place them on a tray and cover with parchment paper to avoid direct exposure to sunlight.

Step 3

Let it dry thoroughly, shake it here and there so all the pieces are dry.

Step 4

Once dried use a grinder to grind the mixture into a powder

Step 5

Keep the powder in a dark airtight container out of moisture and to keep its colour at the longest.
