Preheat the oven to 375 F.

Butter the baking dish generously and pour in the berries, lemon juice and cinnamon. Toss to combine and set aside.

Slowly and gently pour the boiling water over the top of everything, trying not to disrupt the sugar mixture on top too much.
Step 9
Bake for 1 hour or until the top is deeply golden and crunchy.
Step 10
Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream on top.
