Place brisket in a 9x13. Rub the brisket with oil and tomato paste. For braising liquid, add chicken broth till it comes halfway up the brisket. Step 2
Cover the brisket and roast for a few hours until done. Halfway through the cooking time, take the brisket out and slice it, then return the slices to the pan and continue cooking uncovered until done.
