Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Combine the beef with egg, bread crumbs, onion, and milk in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper.

Grease a 5X9-inch loaf pan. Or, if you want, you can also form the mixture into a loaf in a 9X13-inch baking dish (lightly greased).

Step 4

Combine brown sugar with ketchup and mustard in a small bowl, and then mix well. Pour over the meatloaf.

Step 5

Bake for about an hour.
