Ingredients: 5 (14.5 ounce) cans of green beans (drained); 12 strips of cooked bacon or a 4.3 ounce package of bacon bits; 2/3 cup of brown sugar; 1/4 cup of melted butter; 7 teaspoons of soy sauce; 1 1/2 teaspoons of garlic powder

These green beans are the best side dish. Only a few ingredients and absolutely delicious. Everyone will love these green beans.

(14.5 ounce) cans of green beans (drained)

bacon

brown sugar

melted butter

soy sauce

garlic powder

Mix all together in the oven at 350 for 40 minutes

I’m pretty positive I didn’t do something right. I think I should have added either more brown sugar or more soy sauce. They just didn’t have enough flavor for my taste, but I will be making them again. I’m just gonna play around with the recipe to see what works best for me.

Tried this recipe for the first time last night. This will definitely be made over and over again.  Our family always made them with bacon and onions which is good, but this just makes you want to go back again and again. Will be sharing this recipe with my friends.

My German aunt raised me and her green beans were my favorite. Bacon, onions, green beans and then a splash of vinegar. Wow, as a kid it was my favorite. I also now occasionally add soy sauce or other items but I've found that orange balsamic is my favorite for the vinegar. But I can't find that anywhere but amazon. Great method you have and my next batch will be your recipe.

This is a great recipe! My daughter makes it and it's now "her dish" to bring to family potlucks.
