Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray a 9 x 13 casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.

tart by cooking the breakfast sausage in a large skillet. You will want to crumble it up and cook until browned. Discard the excess grease and then add pepper and onion. Cook another 2-3 minutes to soften.

Add sausage mixture, hash browns, and half of the cheese into the dish. Stir the ingredients.

Step 4

In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, Bisquick, salt and pepper. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage mixture. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top starts to turn golden brown.

Step 5

Top the casserole with remaining cheese. Bake for another 2-3 minutes or until cheese melts.

Step 6

Let sit for 5 minutes before slicing.
