My  aunt makes this dip and she always makes more than the recipe calls for because we LOVE IT!!! if you guys have not tried it believe me when I say it is a MUST. It is extremely addicting..... ??

I have made this dip for years.  I cater and serve it at most all of my events.  I serve it with toast, crackers, pretzels or whatever I have on hand.   I toast the bread and then quarter it for bite size portions.  Also, I bake my bacon in the oven.  Put it on a cookie sheet with a wire baking rack and bake at 350 until it is nice and crispy.  It makes crumbling it much easier.

We just had a office potluck, i tripled this recipe, and it was gone in 2 hrs... I served it with wheat thins.. Very addicting...

Made this with MAPLE bacon, and it was EXTRA AMAZING!!!

Big hit at our social hour.  Makes a large amount.  Next time I will only make half.

Love to review but first have to know:  Is the "mayonnaise "  mayonnaise  or salad dressing as in Miracle Whip?   Thank you  from a beginner.

I have to say that this dip is tasty, especially if it sits in the refrigerator for a few days. However, I had to cut the recipe in half because I planned this on the fly for a party and only had 12 oz of bacon. As far as the recipe goes I think it needs a little less mayo and more sour cream. Also, the dip was salty with only adding 12 oz of bacon so I can't imagine what it would be like with 2 lbs. Total sodium overload. I wasn't expecting to make a healthy dip but I may try lower sodium bacon the next time I make this dip.

I've made this several times for different events and always get raves and requests for the recipe. It's so easy it's almost embarassing! Ü

I did not use this as a dip, but for a topper for a potato bar night.  It was OFF the charts, and inhaled in nothing flat.  Next time I might add a bit more crumbled bacon, but that's all I'd change.

We do this one a lot for partys.  I like to put just a bit of shredded lettuce in it.

I kept looking for more seasonings and couldn't believe it really didn't need any.  I made this just as written, except took one shortcut.  I bought precooked bacon at Sam's.  Cooked it in the micro and cut it up with kitchen shears.  I also read earlier reviews and drained my roma tomatoes well, even patted them, with paper towels.  Delicious just as written.

I made this for a house party tonight, and it was such a hit, the bowl was wiped clean. I used about 9 oz. of the "real bacon" stuff I found in the store and it really made the recipe so easy. I served it with pita slices & bagel chips, but someone had Fritos, and the corn chip & dip combo was soooo delicious.

This recipe has been a hit with my family for a very long time! One easy way to prepare the bacon is to cut it into little pieces before you fry it. Makes it much faster for frying and you dont have to get your fingers greasey twice! And it has a much better flavor if you make it the night prior to needed it :)

Made this for a potluck and it was a big hit. Like another reviewer, I added a splash of fresh squeezed lemon juice to brighten up the flavor.

This is addicting so be prepared to watch your bowl be emptied in no time. I served it with Wheat Thins and Club Crackers and should have made a double batch.

I had to send this to friends for the super bowl partys.It really tastes like the BLT's we  have made.

I hosted a cookout recently and this was gone in a flash.  I'll definitely  make it again
