In a small saucepan, add the bluberries, water, and granular sugar.

Heat over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.

Increase heat to high until mixture comes to a boil.

Remove from heat, add lid to the saucepan and allow the blueberries to steep in the sugar syrup until room temperature.
Step 5
Once finished pour the Blueberry Simple Syrup over a mesh strainer and into a glass container to remove the blueberry pulp.
Step 6
Screw lid onto your container of Blueberry Simple Syrup and refrigerate for up to three months.
Step 7
To a glass add ice (half the volume of glass), blueberry simple syrup, and carefully pour over the gin to not disturb the syrup too much.
Step 8
Top with tonic water.Optional: Add juice from half a lemon.
Step 9
Garnish with fresh blueberries.
Step 10
Stir until combined and drink responsibly!
