1 Preheat oven to 300 degrees. 2 Sprinkle the short ribs with salt, pepper and smoked paprika and place them in a baking dish you’ve sprayed with vegetable spray. 3 Place the prepared ribs in the baking dish and cover with half of the bbq sauce. 4 Tightly cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 2.5-3 hours. 5 Remove from the oven, uncover and bake an additional 30 minutes. 6 Remove from the oven and “slather” the ribs with the remaining bbq sauce. Serve with mashed potatoes and steamed asparagus on the side. 7 To make the gravy, whisk the beef broth and cornstarch together. Bring to a boil to thicken.
