Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
Toast the bread lightly and then use a food processor or blender to cut into crumbs. Add in the flour, salt and baking powder.
Step 3
In another large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars. Add in the egg and vanilla.
Step 4
Add the dry mixture into the wet mixture and mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips
Step 5
Drop cookies (about a tablespoon each) onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
