Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. and move the baking rack to the top half of the oven.
Step 2
In a small bowl, stir together the brown sugar and Dijon mustard until combined. Set aside.
Step 3
Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil and lightly spray with cooking spray.
Step 4
Place the whole salmon or salmon fillets, skin side down, on the prepared sheet pan.
Step 5
Evenly sprinkle the salmon with salt and ground black pepper.
Step 6
Top the salmon with the glaze in an even layer across the top. Place into the oven and back 12 to 15 minutes. Remove the salmon from the oven and allow it to rest for 1 to 2 minutes before serving. Serve warm.
