My husband and I thought these were excellent! Like others, I cut the recipe in half and subbed ground chicken for the turkey; also I might go a little heavier on the buffalo sauce the next time I make it. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is a little soupy once you add in the broth, hot sauce, tomato sauce, etc., but I just let it simmer about 10-15 minutes until the liquid was reduced and it was a nice sloppy Joe consistency and all the flavors developed nicely. Another keeper!

These were pretty good, but the sauce didn't seem strong enough. We had to add extra hot sauce when we made our burger. Also, don't add too much bleu cheese or it completely takes over the taste.

<p>I made this twice. the first time it was ok mainly because I didn't use enough of the buffalo sauce. I cut the recipe in half but the second time I made it, I used 1/4 cup of the buffalo sauce and it was amazing! I would definitely recommend using much more of the buffalo sauce. I especially love this recipe because it sneaks in some veggies that my daughter wouldn't normally want to eat :)</p>

Although I would like the ground turkey, celery, and carrots, and I made this without those ingredients and used ground beef for my husband's preferences. We both liked the result and thought they were a good change of pace from regular sloppy joes.

It was very good.  We would prefer to reduce the chix broth to 1/2 cup and the hot sauce to 3 Tbsp.

My store was out of ground turkey, so I made this recipe with ground chicken, and it was delicious!  I also left out the carrot.  My husband and I both thought the flavor was wonderful and mild.  I suggest you add more hot sauce if you prefer a spicy buffalo taste.  The celery adds a nice crunch, and the blue cheese is a perfect complement to the sauce.  We'll definitely have these again!

I followed the recipe as written and these were VERY soupy.  I think tomato paste would have been a better idea than sauce, and I'm also not sure it needs that much chicken broth.  I thought it was rather bland, so I added extra hot sauce and a bunch of salt and creole seasoning and let it simmer for awhile.  It reduced enough to be put on buns and was tasty after all the changes.  My husband is picky and doesn't even like wings, but he liked the flavor of these sandwiches.

This is one of my all time favorites.. And, Being a mom of 2 young children I like to find things that are good cold... this is great cold without the bun.. may sound silly but sometimes lunch is whatever I can get..

My husband is not a "foodie" by any means.  He is never one to really talk about food or how good it is...but he loves buffalo chicken wings so I made this recipe for him and he RAVED about it for two straight days.  Thank you for a wonderfully easy and tasteful recipe!

I put the sloppy joe mix on whole wheat buns. My hubby said it was the best sloppy joe mix ever. He suggested it could use more hot sauce. I have an idea that I will be making a his and her sloppy joe mix.

These are a great quick meal.  Not too spicy but you still get the buffalo flavor. We use ranch instead of blue cheese to top.

My family loathes poultry.  This includes Thanksgiving turkey.  The only poultry they will willingly eat is homemade chicken tacos.  When I made these about 3 weeks ago and they devoured them, I knew this was a real winner.  I did, however, leave out the brown sugar.  The general consensus was that spicy was far superior to sweet and spicy. Tonight when I make these again, I will use 2 full packages of ground turkey (each pkg. is 1 1/4 lbs). This will prevent having 8 oz. of leftover ground turkey that I won't be able to get anyone to eat, and will keep the recipe from being quite so "sloppy".

My family really enjoyed this recipe and want it prepared again.  Because of what I had in the fridge/pantry, I replaced a few items - used 1lb ground beef and 1/2C ketchup, and omitted the celery,vinegar, and broth.  It was not soupy at all and full of flavor.  Bleu cheese and hot sauce really gave it some zing and made it extra tasty. Thank you for sharing.

Great recipe!  We double the sauce and instead of using crumbled blue cheese we use blue cheese dressing.

Agree this could use a bit more hot sauce and the addition of chicken broth is probably not necessary.  They were a bit soupy if simply heated through but I let it simmer a bit to reduce and let flavors develop.  Only made half a recipe to test, but will plan to make full batches in the future!

Like other reviewers said it was a little soupy. Flavor was a bit lacking-bland. Most of family's comments were it is OK but they prefer traditional Sloppy Joes. I was surprised because they love the Buffalo Chicken wraps recipe we found at TOH I figured this would be a winner too because they love anything with buffalo chicken wing flavor.

Instead of ground turkey, which I don't care for, I used ground chicken. The sauce was pretty watery so I had to add a few tablespoons of flour to thicken it up. It also had a bland taste. I don't think I will make this again.

Really good -  I halved the recipe.  My husband said next time I should leave out the carrots.

I wasn't very crazy about this recipe, but my husband, on the other hand, loved it.  I did cut back on the chicken broth and increase the hot sauce as others had recommended.  I also added some Buffalo Wing Rub I had purchased at Spice Barn.I am willing to try them 1 more time but with ground chicken.  I seem to prefer that over ground turkey.
