Buffalo Turkey Burgers

Louisiana-style hot sauce, divided

These are great. I did adjust some ingredients the second time I made it to get a more authentic buffalo flavor (vs. a taco flavor). I cut the cumin and chili powder to 1sp each respectively, and used Fank's buffalo hot sauce instead of Lousiana style hot sauce. I also served this with Ranch instead of Blue cheese to suit my family's tastes.

We liked the burgers but too much cumin for us..I will be making them again but using just a very small amount of cumin.We like the little bit of heat we got from the hot sauce.

These were very good, I feel like they could use some breadcrumbs, however, to make them hold together better

Great flavor.  Skipped the bun and wrapped in a leaf of romaine lettuce with 1/2 TB of sour cream and .5 oz of Provolone cheese for less than 200 calories.

Okay, I haven't made these yet, BUT - "Buffalo" using "Louisiana-style hot sauce"?  NOPE, NOPE, NOPE - gotta be Frank's for the authentic Buffalo-style taste!!!

Delicious! We like these with celery sticks and extra dressing on the side. Sometimes I skip the buns and just serve the burgers on a bed of shredded lettuce.

I cut the cumin and chili powder to 1/2 tsp each.  I also used wings sauce not LA hot sauce.  I fried on the stovetop. I think they were far too delicate to put on the grill so when I grill them I will add a binder like an egg and crumbs.  I will make again as they had a good flavor.

Thought these burgers were delicious.  My personal preference would be to slightly reduce amount of cumin and increase hot sauce.  All in all most flavorful

Very good. I reduced the cumin slightly and used ranch dressing...tasted just great.

Really good burgers and I'm not a huge fan of turkey burgers usually! I would love to make a big batch of these and just keep them in the freezer. I added extra hot sauce to the meat and some extra garlic to mimic a garlic hot wing (my favorite kind).

This was one of the best turkey burgers I had. I used Frank's buffalo sauce and cajon spice instead of chili powder. Now i have an excuse to eat home made turkey or chicken burgers - Thanks

I think they were great. They are a nice change from the Turkey Burgers we normally make.

These burgers were incredibly moist and flavorful.  I grilled them on the BBQ.  The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because this definitely isn't a buffalo wing taste to me, but more of a tex-mex or taco flavor, so it was kind of a surprising flavor in the end.  Definitely not in a bad way, as they were delicious - but the title is very misleading.

These were really good (and I'm not a fan of turkey burgers) - I will say the cumin makes them more taco flavor than Buffalo flavor but that doesn't mean they're not a good burger.I cut the cumin to 3/4's tsp, cut the salt to 1/4 tsp, used 1/4 tsp granulated garlic and ancho chili powder.  Mixed and formed the patties in the morning, cooked them up at night.  Moist, tender and yummy!

I used Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Wings Sauce & Cajun Spice instead of cumin & Chili powder as others suggested. No binder necessary, will definitely make again.

My kids even liked these....although w/o the blue cheese.  Instead of making these as regular sized burgers, I made them as sliders, and I used  home-made blue cheese dressing and NM red chile powder.  All in all I would say they rivaled any restaurant  fare.

I change to get the taste that my family likes.  Good recipe to start with.
