Step 1

Place butter in a mixing bowl.

Step 2

Add brown sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt.

Step 3

Mix with an electric mixer until thoroughly creamed.

Step 4

Stir in flour, bananas and butterscotch morsels and mix until combined.

Step 5

Pour mixture into a greased 11x17” cookie sheet.

Step 6

Bake at 350° for about 30-40 minutes until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Step 7

Frost brownies with browned sugar icing as soon as they come out of the oven.

Step 8

Melt butter over medium heat in medium-sized saucepan.

Step 9

Add brown sugar and half-and-half and bring to a boil.

Step 10

Remove from heat.

Step 11

Cool icing 5 minutes.

Step 12

Add powdered sugar and whisk until smooth.

Step 13

Spread over warm blondies.

Step 14

Refrigerate before cutting into bars.
