Ingredients: 4 cups grape and/or cherry tomatoes, halved; 8 ounces fresh pearl-size mozzarella cheese or fresh mozzarella cheese, chopped; ¼ cup small fresh basil leaves; 3 tablespoons olive oil; 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar or white balsamic vinegar; 1 tablespoon snipped fresh basil; 3 cloves garlic, minced; ¼ teaspoon salt; ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Caprese Tossed Salad

grape and/or cherry tomatoes, halved

mozzarella cheese or fresh mozzarella cheese, chopped

basil leaves

olive oil

white wine vinegar vinegar

basil

garlic,

salt

black pepper

In a serving bowl combine tomatoes, cheese, and basil leaves. In a screw-top jar combine oil, vinegar, snipped basil, garlic, salt, and pepper; cover and shake well. Pour over tomato mixture; toss gently to coat.
