Ingredients: 1 cup almond milk; 1/4 cup unflavored pea protein powder (or whey protein); 1 medium very ripe banana; 2 baby carrots; 1 tablespoon ground flax; 1/2 teaspoon turmeric; lots of ice; sweetener of choice (optional)

Carrot Banana Protein Smoothie

Put everything in a high speed blender and blend until very smooth.

Recipe was good. I don’t care for my pea protein, but honestly this was a refreshing smoothie. East fast. I used a full carrot and some maple syrup.  The pea protein burns my throat but I needed to up my protein

Delicious but I'm curious why it is 7 WW points? It doesn't add up with the ingredients...

I did not have any protein powder on hand so I used one packet of Vanilla Carnation Instant Breakfast and did not use any sweeteners, as I felt adding that packet would be sweet enough. It worked out nicely and was not overly sweet at all. Next time I'll remember to buy the protein powder!

This was a great change to mix up the usual to go protein smoothies post workout . And was surprised and how good this was- I did add a dash of honey to sweeten it for the teens and had to use whey protein but otherwise kept your recipe the same and as suggested added the daily collagen scoop in here today!

I usually do more tropical fruit and berry smoothies so this was a really nice change of pace! I used 4 baby carrots and probably could have done a couple more. Added a small squirt of agave nectar but it wasn't necessary. Will definitely make again!

I will definitely make this again! I used my vanilla protein powder (stevia sweetened) so it was plenty sweet.
