Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Step 2
Beat 1 egg with the flour and milk in a large bowl. Add the minced garlic and onion and stir. Season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of paprika. Shave the cheese and add to the mixture.
Step 3
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the bread on it and cover with the egg and cheese mixture.
Step 4
Bake the crostoni for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve hot, accompanied by a side of mixed salad greens if desired.
