Step 1
Take a big bowl and weigh the flour and add salt. Stir to combine the flour and salt

Melt the butter in the microwave or on the stovetop. Add the milk and melted butter to the flour
Step 3
Use a wooden spoon to combine the ingredients into a dough. Then use your hands to knead the dough
Step 4
When all the dough has come together in a ball knead it on a cutting board or the kitchen counter
Step 5
Knead for 2 to 3 minutes until you have an elastic dough. Shape into a big ball (it should not be sticky), return to the bowl, and let the dough rest for 15 minutes
Step 6
Cover with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap to prevent the dough from drying out
Step 7
Knead the dough once more and cut it into 6 equal sizes. Roll into a ball and then flatten with a rolling pin
Step 8
Add grated cheese on top of the flattened dough and stretch the dough over the cheese and turn it into a ball once again
Step 9
Roll out the dough ball into a flatbread with the shredded cheese inside
Step 10
Heat a skillet to hot and add the rolled-out dough to the skillet. While it heats roll out the next one
Step 11
When you see bubbles appear after about half a minute turn it in the skillet. The flatbread will rise up to a giant ball. Turn after a minute and leave it for another minute
Step 12
When brown patches appear take it out of the skillet and keep it warm in a clean kitchen towel
Step 13
Repeat for the remaining flatbreads
