I made this precisely as the recipe was written...the first time. It was a hit with us and our guests. The second time I made it I tweaked it to suit my needs.  I increased the ingredients for more servings, making sure I would have left overs. Absolutely delicious. Great flavor.

Delicious and it smells amazing as it cooks! Definitely use reduced-sodium beef broth or the result will be on the salty side. I will be making this incredibly quick all-in-one pot meal again!

This is quick, easy, delicious, and kid pleasing. I used 93% lean ground
beef, and regular elbow macaroni with excellent results. This reheats well. In fact,
there were two servings leftover, which was perfect for packing in the kids’
lunches the next day. I just reheated the leftovers, put them in their
thermoses so they were still warm when they got to lunch.

I didn’t have elbow noodles so used rotini and was afraid it would ruin the outcome; nope! It was delicious! My husband had to force himself to stop, my 7 year old eats whatever is given to him, and my picky 4 and 2 year olds gobbled it up! It’s so easy and I love that’s it’s a one pot wonder - I loath dishes. Bonus, it can easily be doubled and the second batch saved for a freezer meal I. The future. There are only good things about this recipe.

I have a tendency to follow recipes online, very closely, the first time I try to make them so that's what I did with this on, much to my surprise I even had Montreal steak seasoning(?).  I had 3 cups of broth and the milk measured out and I gotta admit, I was quite skeptical that all that broth was going to get absorbed/dissipate appropriately but those measurements were perfect. This turned out exactly as I hoped and although some might say its bland, we would describe the flavors as delicate and subtle.  We thought it was delicious and I won't change a thing when I make it again.  Paired with a salad it felt like a nice home cooked, well rounded meal.

I had no steak seasoning but I added 2 dabs of Worcestershire sauce and voila. It's a big hit with the fam.

This is a keeper! I think the flavors work very well together, particularly the addition of the steak seasoning. I used whole milk because it's what I had on-hand and I used slightly more than the 3 cups of broth (I used two cans which is almost four cups), but the recipe turned out wonderfully.

The dish was okay.  I added more pasta which absorbed the extra liquid.

I only added 1 cup of beef broth and it was the perfect amount. Next time I will use Webber's Gourmet Hamburger seasoning instead of steak seasoning. Easy, fast and perfect for a weeknight dinner.

This was easy, quick and wonderful. It reminds me of my Mom's American Chop Suey recipe but without the heavy tomato base. The whole family loved it. I had no problem with too much liquid or not thick enough. It was great! Thank you for sharing we will be making this again.

Made this last night. Definitely like that it was a quick one pot meal. Only used 2 cups of beef broth, (low sodium). Lacked some flavor, maybe because of the low sodium beef. Will definitely give it a try with additional seasonings.

Very tasty and easy.  I agree that there was a lot of liquid.  I will probably reduce the amount of broth next time.

This has quickly become a family favorite. Easy to make, and if there are leftovers, they heat up great for lunches later in the week.

Way too bland for my family.  So, I added garlic and chili powder, still not very good.  I would not recommend.  I did not have too much broth as others mentioned.

I just made this today (7/10/14) and it is a huge hit even with my little guy that doesn't like Hamburger Helper. I did it exactly like the recipe with out problems. I'm not sure why anyone would have problems with it thickening unless they didn't read the ingredients to see that it is uncooked pasta. I will be making it again!

I made this tonight because it used just a few ingredients and looked quick.  This was incredibly tasty!  I thought the Montreal steak spice gave it some extra kick, and I'm surprised that some other reviewers found it bland.   It thickened just right for me (again, many reviewers seemed to have a problem with this).   I made this exactly as is and will definitely make again!  My picky two year old gave it a huge thumbs up and had 2nds...then 3rds!

My son's favorite dinner! And we like it too. Everyone has different tastes, and this recipe is super easy to manipulate to accommodate whatever fits your personal tastes. I don't buy Montreal Steak Seasoning, but whatever seasoning you do use will work in this recipe. I typically cut down the broth by a half cup to make it cook faster and makes it creamier, but like I said before, it's easy to adjust to fit your own needs and taste buds!
