Step 1
Add your ground beef to a pan and ground it up. Drizzle in the olive oil and saute the meat on a medium-high heat until almost browned. Once the meat is almost browned, add in the garlic powder, cracked black pepper, celery salt, 1 tsp tony's creole seasoning, onion, and garlic. Saute that for a few more minutes until the meat is fully browned (if you have a lot of excess oil in the pan you can mop some of it up with a paper towel).
Step 2
Now, add in the worcestershire and wine and let that simmer at a medium high heat until the liquid is reduced by half. Then, add in the cans of cream of celery soup. Fill one of the empty cans with a ¼ cup of milk, swish the milk around in the can to get the excess soup out, and then add the milk into the pan. Stir everything together and bring the pan to a boil. Once it comes to a boil, lower it to a simmer, and let that simmer for about 5 minutes.
Step 3
Then, lower the heat and add in 1 cup of freshly shredded cheddar cheese and ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley. Stir the cheese in until it melts and add in a pinch of salt if needed. Set that aside.
Step 4
Now to make the topping, in a bowl add the cheddar bay biscuit mix, the seasoning packet that comes in the box, 1 tsp tony's creole seasoning, and 2 cups of milk. Whisk that together until everything is combined. Then, add in 1 cup of freshly shredded cheese and mix that together until incorporated. Set that aside.
Step 5
Grease a baking dish and evenly pour in that beef mixture. Sprinkle about 1 cup of freshly shredded cheddar cheese evenly over top of the beef mixture. Then, pour the biscuit batter evenly over the top and smooth it out so it's fully covering the top. Bake it in the oven at 350°F for about 50 minutes.
Step 6
(This step is optional) In a measuring cup or small bowl, combine melted butter, 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley, and ½ tsp tony's creole seasoning. Once the beef cobbler has 2 minutes of cooking time left, remove it from the oven, and evenly pour over that melted butter mixture. Set it back in the oven for the remaining 2 minutes.
Step 7
Once it's done let it set up for about 15 minutes before cutting into it. Enjoy!
