Step 1
Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the ground beef, onion, and bell peppers, breaking up the ground beef into crumbles. Cook until there is no pink left in the beef, the onions are translucent, and the bell peppers softened, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain any excess grease.
Step 2
Add the garlic and black pepper, mix it in, cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, mix it in and simmer for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Turn the heat down to low and add the cubed Velveeta, stir it in until melted. This may take a few minutes.
Step 4
Take off the heat and stir in half of the cheddar cheese.
Step 5
Add to pretzel buns and top each sandwich with the remaining cheddar. Serve immediately.
