Export 9 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Add 2/3 cup of cherries, 1 Tbsp chia seeds, 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon, and 1 Tbsp brown sugar into the bottom of a mason jar or bowl.
Step 2
Muddle or stir together until the ingredients are combined.
Step 3
If desired, add 1/4 cup of mini chocolate chips or chopped up bits of dark chocolate. It might sound odd, but they add a wonderful bit of texture!
Step 4
Top with 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1/4 cup Greek yogurt, 2/3 cup water and a pinch of salt.
Step 5
Give the oats a good stir to mix the ingredients together, then cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight.
Step 6
When you're ready to eat the oats, remove from the fridge. You’ll see that the oats absorbed a lot of the liquid, so you might want to add a little more water or milk of your choice before eating.
Step 7
If desired, top with a spoonful of cherry preserves and fresh cherries, and enjoy cold!
Step 8
These cherry overnight oats keep in the fridge for up to 4 days.
