Step 1

Preheat oven to 40o degrees.Melt butter and pour it in the bottom of a 9x13 casserole dish.Shred chicken and place it on top of the butter.Sprinkle on pepper, salt, garlic powder and onion powder.

Step 2

Whisk together milk and flour (or baking mix) and slowly pour it over the chicken - Do not stir the chicken and flour mixture together.

Step 3

Whisk together the chicken broth and can of cream of chicken soup and pour it over the flour and milk mixture - Again do not stir the casserole.Bake uncovered 35-45 minutes or until golden brown.Let stand about 10 minutes, mine always looks a little soupy just coming out of the oven but it sets up and gets a little thicker as you serve it up.
