Step 1
In a bowl, combine the sliced chicken with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, half of the fajita seasoning, and lime juice. Allow it to marinate for at least 15-30 minutes.
Step 2
In a large skillet or pan, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced bell peppers and onions to the pan. Sprinkle with the remaining fajita seasoning. Cook until the vegetables are tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes.
Step 3
Push the vegetables to one side of the pan. Add the marinated chicken to the other side. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Step 4
Mix the cooked chicken with the sautéed vegetables in the pan. Adjust seasoning if necessary. Warm the tortillas and serve the chicken fajita mixture on the tortillas.
Step 5
Top the fajitas with your favorite toppings such as shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, guacamole, and cilantro.
