I used whole chicken. But you can use drumsticks too. First press from the breast part, and make some movements to see the joined parts. And then cut the thighs, then wings. Also, cut the thigh into two pieces.
Step 3
After cutting, cook the chicken pieces. I used a pressure cooker but you can use regular pan also. Add enough water and some salt, and cook until it is almost soft for about 20 minutes.
Step 4
To soak the rice; add rice to a large bowl, then add warm water and salt. Wait at least for half an hour or up to 5 hours.
Step 5
Dice onions and saute in a wide pan in olive oil.
Step 6
Over the sautéed onions, add your soaked rice after draining well, and wash a couple of times to get rid of the starch. Continue to sauté the rice couple of more minutes. Don’t add salt too much because we used salt for the chicken stock as well.
Step 7
Level the sautéed rice and place the chicken pieces on top of it.
Step 8
